Emmeline Pankhurst was born on 15.July.1858 (according to her birth certificate) & made HERstory many times throughout her life. Emmeline was only fourteen when she was introduced to the Women's Suffrage Movement, & in 1903, she founded the Women's Social & Political Union (WSPU). Along with many other important & notable achievements, Emmeline was a major force behind eventually securing Womens' right to vote.
